Does Pain In Shoulder And Upper Arms Indicate Symptom Of Osteoporosis?

I have osteo athritis and it seems to be getting worse in the last few days. I am having intense pain in my shoulders and upper arms especially on the right side and I have not done anything strenuous to cause it. Is it a possible symptom of osteoperosis?

Hi,
Your question is not very clear. You have mentioned in your first line that you have osteoarthritis. I Hope it was diagnosed by a doctor and you are just not calling it by yourself. Osteoarthritis is the signs of wear and tear in a joint. This is quite different from osteopororsis. Osteoporosis is usually asymptomatic unless someone comes up with a fracture over a trivial injury. Rarely some people may present with mild dull aching, nagging bone pain. Osteoporosis does not cause severe pain. Hope this answers your questions
