General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

* As per my surgical experience, the torsion will give sharp, excruciating pain not dull warm pain.
* This usually seems to be minor inflammation of testis as orchitis or sometimes referred pain from gravels or calculus in the urinary system.
* There is no need to ER visit, rather drink plenty of liquids, avoid tight under garments, take analgesic tablet at present and visit your doctor tomorrow.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
