Does Pain In Tragus Of Ear And Hearing Problem Suggest An Infection?

Hi, I just got back from the doctor about my right ear bothering me. He cleaned out my ear, but I am finding that I still have pain on the tragus part of the ear when I touch it. My hearing is also not quite right. It s very subtle, but I can still tell somethings not right. Im hoping it s not a infection, and somthing that can heal on its own. Any suggestions?
