Does Penicillin Cause Delay In Periods With Light Spotting?

hi, I recently had strep throat and was put on oral penicillin...i have yet to receive my period BUT I do have light pink spotting. I took a urine test and it came back negative...could the delay be from the penicillin/strep? help!
