Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain it seems that the mouth ulcers can be apthous ulcers and
swollen gums are also due to inflammation caused by the ulcers..
Ulcers can be due to side effect of penicillin.
If it is so the ulcers will subside once the intake of the antibiotic is stopped..
As of now for symptomatic relief you can gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine for pain relief.
Take anti-inflammatory painkiller
Ibuprofen for reducing inflammation and swelling.
Take a
multivitamin tablet daily for 15 days.
Avoid hot and spicy food and take a soft and cool diet..
Sucking ice pops and gargle with
cold water will also relief..
Soda bicarb gargles will help..
If there is no improvement consult your treating physician and get the medication changed..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
