Does Pimple On Nipple Need Further Investigation?

Hi, the other day my husband popped a pimple that was on his nipple, I think instead of it popping out in went in and now is super tender and really red in a circle around his nipple. Is this something he should go to his GP about? Or will it just go away eventually?

Hello,

As per your case history, your husband having folliculitis. My treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an NSAID like ibuprofen for five to seven days.
