Does Pneumonia Cause Fluid In Lungs And Chest Cavity As Shown In CT ?
hi, my mother has been in the hospital for a week now with "phemonia", but her CT scan showed that she had fluid in her lungs & chest cavity. so they've did a test where they collect fluid to biopsy it. we are currently awaiting the results for that. here are her symptoms; coughing, headache, weezing,chest pain, & had abdominal pain 1 day..please help..? The antibiotics havent help infact they showed it got worse on the CT scan?

There can be various causes for fluid in lungs. But most common in India is tuberculosis. The fluid reports should help your doctor coming at a diagnosis.
