Does Polycystic Ovary Cause Problems In Conceiving?

Doctor suspects that my wife has polysistic overy and she is under treatment for the same. Period of my wife usually starts 11th of each month and it characterizes severe abdominal pain with very low or no amount of blood secretion. May it become any problem in conceiving ?

Hello,

Yes, PCOD patients have reduced chance of getting periods because of lack of ovulation in many of cycles. Yet, ovulation inducing pills will help or go for other method of getting pregnant, depending on you situation. Discuss with your gynecologist.
