Does Post Nasal Drip Cause Lung Irritation?

My doctor has prescribed Methylprednisolone 4 mg dosepack, however i am not sure if i should take it since I think that my problem lung irritation comes from post nasal drip. I had 2 chest x-rays, last one this past Monday and it is clear. I was expecting to get bronchitis diagnoses. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I understand your concern.
Post nasal drip can not cause Lund irritation.
Some advices that I can give to you for post nasal drip are:
-antihistamines like loratadine-pseudoephedrine (Claritin) can work to get rid of postnasal drip.
-Saline nasal sprays can help moisten your nasal passages and reduce symptoms of postnasal drip.
