Does Previous Abortion With Negative Blood Group Affect The Current Pregnancy?

hi i'm 30yrs old. i'm 180days pregnant. my ultrasonography shows that liquor is polyhydraminos AFI 21CMS, placental location : Grade II Maturity Fundal Posterior Placenta. My Gynecologist adviced that i should be very careful and should not lift any weights. My blood group is "O" Negative. One month before the preganancy i got conceived and spontaneously aborted in 7 days, i have not received any injection for that. will this cause any problem for my baby.

Hi.... Gone through your query. Ya I agree there are chances of affection but its really very very less.
First thing it could be possible that your first pregnancy which was terminated could be a Rh negative one( this can happen if your partner is a heterozygous for Rh antigen) in that case there is less chance of affection now.
Secondly it was a medical abortion in which chances of passage of fetal blood cells if Rh positive to mother is very very less and so you may not have that antibody.
Moreover it can be detected now by various tests like Indirect coombs test and direct anti body level detection.
If affected the baby should be monitored closely.
