Does Prolonged Intake Of Estradiol Lead To Development Of Breast Cancer?

I have been taking HRT s for a difficult menopause? I have been on estriol & Progesterone for over 15 yrs. I developed uterine cancer 3 yrs ago and had a very successful total DiVinci hysterectomy and did not even have to take an aspirin. I am now 72, and asked both my surgeon and prim. Dr how long I can stay on the Estridol. They both said that there was a very slight chance of breast cancer, but otherwise saw no problem in continuing the patch. My Dr is taking them and intends to take them for the rest of her life. When I reduced the dose I had some tough depression, so they say stay on it for quality of life what is your thoughts?
