Does Prostate Cancer Adversely Affect Sex Life Of A Person?

My brother has just been diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. He is thinking he will do nothing. I am trying to tell him that is NOT a good choice. He is afraid that ALL treatments will end his sex life. What is the latest treatment available, and what do you recommend?

Hello dear, Prostate cancer can range from indolent grade to high grade. Depending on stage there are many therapeutic options. with the advancement of tech highly selective surgery is possible with miniml effect of sexual function. however testosterone depletion as a part of therapy will effect on sex life. Need a detailed discussion with your surgeon.
