Does Pushing The Bottom Lip Out Help One Relax?

Hello, as a child I pulled and stretched my bottom lip very often, and now as an adult if I pushed my bottom lip with my hand and hold it, I feel very relaxed around my ears, head, all over my face. Is this actually possible or my mind playing tricks? It would be great if u answer my question. Thank you

Hi
This is a mind thing
In fact the whole relaxation and tension thing is a thing related to psychiatry.
There is no core neurological way or connection that can state that the pressure on lower lip helps relax.
Its a purely psychological thing, maybe as a childhood's pleasant reminder.

Best of luck
Dr Mittal
