Dear friend,
I am Dr. Neel Kudchadkar and I will help you with your problems now.
After quitting smoking, your lungs heal themselves and get rid of the tar slowly. Smoking for a long time causes the air tubes in the lungs to narrow. This may cause problems. The fact that you developed an attack of breathlessness, shows that your lungs are cleaning themselves. The ash of a cigarette is tar, on inhaling this gets lodged in the lungs. Thus your lungs clean themselves by coughing. This is normal. I will politely ask you to visit your favourite doctor and he or she will give you "bromhexine" cough syrup. It is especially very good for clearing your lungs fast and easily. It's OK. And you are safe now from further asthma type attacks. To clean you whole system further practice breathing techniques of yoga and walks in the morning in fresh air. This is also good for your heart and overall health.
Please feel free to post more queries at healthcaremagic.
Take care,
Dr. Neel Kudchadkar
