Does Recovery From Typhoid Fever Take Long?

hi I am Anand .I have recovered from typhoid fever after ten days again I had a fever so I have taken blood test still typhoid is showing positive they given tablets for ten days .I have taken all the tablets still I m feeling uneasy and I am not feeling 100% fit .Can u suggest this ..

Hi,

The typhoid recovery depends upon the intensity of underlying infection, as high titre cases require long period of recovery where as low titre cases get early sero conversion to normal.

However, usual recovery is to be predicted about 2-3 weeks on average case studies with standard care and medications. So still continue further medications, follow diet guidelines and maintain hydration with plenty of liquids to get best results early.
