Does Recurrence Of Glioma Lead To Death?

hello doctor my father has been diagonised with low grade glioma probably polycitic astocytoma in the spinal chord.he has been operated before 2 years but it is not removed fully.we are taking mri for every six months and checking it it doesnot grow.but the thing is whether if it grows it will lead to death
