Does Red Wine Affect Meniere's Disease Adversely?
Red wine is supposed to be deleterious for Meniere's disease sufferers. Red wine includes flavinoids which are major ingredients in certain vitamin supplements targetting some of the Meniere's disease symptoms as a preventive measure, but not a cure. Red wine in moderation is also said to have other positive health benefits.but helping Meniere's disease is not one of them apparently. I have enjoyed a glass of red wine daily for 30 years but have had Meniere's disease in fits and starts for two years. Aged 70. Can you explain the downside aspect of red wine as it affects Meniere's disease?.

Yes it protects Meniere's disease but it dose not mean that it surely prevents one from the disease.
It is necessary for you to now take the treatment of the meniere's disease, like betahistine, cetrizine and other labyrinthine sedatives to help improve the vertigo.
I am also in favour of the physiotherapy. It will help your labyrinthine to adapt the posture and so you can get out of the disease easily.
