Does Reduced Blood Sugar Levels Cause Vomiting?

doctor my dad had 5 vomitings after returning home in the first vomit everthing which he ate in lunch came out and some yellowish colour liquid was observed in following vomitings he had his lunch at a restaurant today also he stood in sun for some work for a long time and also he was using ULTRACET for pain relief in his shoulders and he is using medicines for diabetes also just now i gave him some light buttermilk and he is sleeping now and a spoon of sugar also thinking that it might be a low sugar attack...is it ok..what could i do more plzzzzzzzzzzz help..DOCTOR

Dear sir i can understand your concern
as you rightly said low sugar thats also called as hypoglycemia can give this kind of symptom.
in some individual the medication tramadol also will cause some feeling of nausea
i suggest you to check his blood sugar during the symptoms to rule out hypoglycemia.
in case of low sugar identifying the cause of low saugr is very important
1.taking excess medication
2.skipping meal
3,sick days like fever
i suggest you to speak with treating doc for further analysis.
