Does Reducing The Dose Of Tramadol Cause Any Adverse Effects?
Hello, My wife is 61 years old and is taking 3 x 50 mg of Tramadol as a single dose at 9:30 PM and wants to tapper off of this drug at home, I wound love to assist her and suggested that she start by taking it in the 50 mg dose level 3 times a day about 6 hours apart as was told by her doctor, is this a starting point or should she cut down some right away?
Thank you for asking on HealthcareMagic.com. Discontinuation of tramadol should be done gradually, to avoid withdrawal symptoms. The rule for Tramadol weanning off is 50mg every week.
