Does Refrigerating Duac Gel Increase Its Shelf Life?
If I buy duac, do not open it, and refrigerate it. How long will it last in the fridge? I know it expires after 60 days once it is dispensed. I just want to know if so if I buy more than one, the unopened tubes won t go bad. Also, if it does last longer, Will it be affected at all if not refrigerated for 4 or 5 days while being delivered in the mail. Thank You
Every medicine available in market is with label information which states its storing temperatures as well as expiry date (shelf life). Your duac gel also has written its expiry date on its label. After expiry date, do not use the gel.
Besides storing temperature of duac gel is upto 25°C. So, if room temperature is not exceeding above 25 then no need to store it in refrigerator. However, in summer days you can put it in refrigerator.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
