Does Regular Use Of Amoxycillin Cause Balanitis?

Hello, I have experienced that whenever I take Amoxycillin, I suffer with balanitis . The foreskin gets inflammed and sometimes cracks appear on it which is painful. sometimes thin white coat appears. Administration of B- complex offers some relief. What should I do? Is there any cream for local application ? How to prevent the situation?

Incomplete data like age, gender, any associated medical illness, purpose of taking Amoxycillin frequently??

You seem to developed fungal infection involving the foreskin of the penis whenever you take the antibiotic Amoxicillin.

This can be prevented by good hygiene, using water for cleaning the parts after urination, using loose cotton undergarments and antifungal creams containing Miconazole or Terbinafine would be effective in the prevention and treatment of fungal infection.
