Does Rheumatic Fever Cause Fatigue?

As A child I had trep throat that led to a light case of rheumatic fever, now at 78 I have had a pace maker put inand in the possess I have a loss of energy, attire easily also my leftleg tires first and has for years. did the fever cause this? Mike Kasiger

You are having weakness since many years so should be evaluated further. Serum calcium, sodium and potassium level should be checked to rule out electrolyte disturbance. Check liver and kidney profiles as well. Check anemia by CBC. If needed EMG like investigation can be done. Consult physician for examination.
