Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

The maturation of placenta is normal for your pregnancy age. The placenta has been termed dipping in to the lower segment and it is not clear by how much distance is the placenta separated from the cervix. There is a condition known as placenta praevia where the placenta blocks the cervix and is classified as types I through IV. As there is no mention of placenta praevia in your report, I assume that the placenta is slightly low lying. It is important to observe for any vaginal bleeding which may indicate further downward transition of placenta. I suggest you discuss with your doctor and get the distance from lower end of placental margin to internal os of cervix checked if if its safe to go for normal delivery.
