Does Scant Menstrual Bleeding, Headache And Soreness Of Breasts Indicate Conception?
I have a question about my period. First day brown spotting, second dark red with clotting and then back to brown for 2 days then nothing. Its usually heavy with a full red flow for 6 days. I am trying to conceive. I did a hpt on day one but was negative. But I'm suffering from headaches, sore & heavy breasts and bloating and tightness. Could I be pregnant or is this just an off month?

Hello..home urine pregnancy test is quite reliable and sensitive to rule out pregnancy..so if it shows negative results, then pregnancy is quite an unlikely possibility.. This kind of menstruation might be a normal deviation from your usual menstrual flow, which most probably won't have much physiological implication.. So i would advise you to rest assured and try further for conception.. (intercourse during day 11 to day 15 would facilitate)..if it has been more than 1 year since you are trying to conceive, i would suggest you to get an infertility evaluation of yourself and your partner.. Plus if you notice further changes in your cycle, duration or flow of menses, get a serum tsh and serum prolactin done alogwith a gynecological checkup..
