Does Severe Abdominal Cramping, Bloating, Constipation And Fever Warrant An ER Visit?
My boyfriend age 43 in excellent health who is undergoing life changing stressors i.e... loosing job and divorce he has had at least 2-3 fevers in past two days and has extreme abdominal cramping on the left lower quadrant and has not been able to have regular bowel movement in days. It doesn t seem like normal flu like symptoms and the fevers where preceded by the constipation and intense bloating and cramping.Is this something we should go the ER for this evening?

Regarding your boyfriend symptoms of fever abdominal bloating and cramps constipation I will suggest this does not require ER visit reason due to it is not an emergency condition
In view of this please do the following test Abdominal scan Abdominal x-ray
Meanwhile please take the following pending the outcome of the result
Tablet buscopan
Liquid paraffin
Tablet Tylenol
