Does Single Loop Around Baby's Neck With Grade 3 Maturity Of Placenta Lead To C-section?
my sister in law who is 28 years old,weighs 60 kg is in her 38th week of pregnancy and the ultrasound says that there is a single loop around the baby's neck so also the placenta is of grade 3 maturity .is it safe to await a normal delivery or go in for a c section

1.Iam afraid you have to get a c section done, its more safe than taking risk.
2.Since it is 38 weeks chances of uncoiling is rare ( baby will not able to move like in early scans)
3.Finally get a scan done in a week time and do the needful depending on the findings.
4.Placental maturity is normal for 38 weeks gestation.
5.Recommened fetal doppler evaluation for fetal wellbeing.
