Does Skipping Eliquis Dosage Cause Any Health Complications?
Hi, Doctor. Thank you for your attention. I am taking eliquis for atrialfibrilation. And I am visiting my family for Thanksgiving. I have laid out my next weeks pills, and find that I will be 2 days short on the eliquis. Should I be concerned? Should I take some baby aspirin during those 2 days. Or should I just enjoy my vacation?

apixaban is the generic drug content of eliquis which is used to prevent coagulation of blood. Atrial fibrillation patients are at high risk for thromboembolic events. To prevent this eliquis is prescribed to them. It should be taken continues without skipping any dose. If you want to stop it prior advise from your treating doctor is must.Do not risk your health. take enough quantity of medications with you.
