Does Skoliosis Affect My Knees And Sleeping?

Hi. I was told when i was 14 that I had mild Skoliosis. We didn't get much into it but they said they would keep an eye on it. My yearly check up is soon. But im wondering if having Skoliosis can affect my knees at all and sleeping? Because when i walk up stairs sometimes or random moments like right now i get pains in my knee area.. and i wasnt sure if they were related or not.. im only 16 aboutt to be 17 and i just dont see why i would have these knee issues. Some nights i have to use icey hot b/c it hurts so much like now.. But im open for answer help and Thank you
