Does Slowness Due To Lortab Tablet After Alcohol Intake Need Medical Attention?
My girlfriend has had a few drinks tonight (2 shots, a beer, and a glass of wine). She just took half of a lortab (HydrocodoneAPAP5/500) and has started feeling incredibly slow. Is this something that I need to run to the ER for, or is this something that was just a stupid idea that should be slept off?
cannot say in your particular case and, this question has been there for a considerable period of time, so the answer is a theoretical one. This is one of the few cases in which the standard TV trope actually is correct. While keeping someone with a gunshot wound awake doesn't do anything but annoy the emergency crew, being able to keep someone with a potential overdose (but an UNLIKELY ONE) awake for the 1 hr per drink length of time would demonstrate that there's no problem. ALso, hydrocodone hits its peak effect in about 1 hr and its effects dwindle in 3-4 hr. so.. awake 3-4 hrs not an issue... not able to arouse, progressivley sleepier.. very bad.
