I am 62, I live in northern California, whre all the fires aree, the smoke has been horrible, I have a swollen tonsil on the left side. No pain, unless i swallow. I was wondering if all this smoke could cause this. I have had it for secveral days, thanks Cathy
Swollen tonsil is referring an infection of the tonsils due to possible fumes (allergic) or due to virus or bacteria. Get it checked by ENT specialist to see if you need any prescription med. For now, keep good oral hygiene, apply oral antiseptic.
All the best.
