Does Smoking THC Reduce Concussion Pain And Help Heal It?

Hello, I received a concussion on Saturday while skiing. Its not severe but the symptoms were significant enough to tell that i obviously had a concussion. Its now Tuesday and Ive been excused from class's till Thursday and I have been told to take Tylenol and sleep. My question though is I'm a daily marijuana smoker (I know that's not good but that's not what I'm here in search of an answer of.) I got two conflicting idea's, one says that smoking marijuana with a concussion can cause you to slip into a coma if you fall asleep while high with a concussion, and the other is that the Thc actually attaches to the nuerologens (pardon my spelling) or something like that in your head and can actually reduce the pain and help the healing process. The idea's obviously completely contradict each other and thats why im trying here to find out if either one is true, and whether or not I can smoke while having this concussion, and if not what would be the best time span to wait to start again. Thanks in advance.
