Does Smoking Cigarette Cause Insomnia?

Hello... i am 21 years old... i hve had my tof repaired at the age of 3... i am a medical student at aiims.. i am smoking cigarette since last couple of years... is it bad for my health?... also i spend many sleepless nights bcoz of study load and have a very hectic schedule... should i change my smoking habbits because now i m a bit conscious about my health... also can u please tell me about do s and dont s for leading a healthy life? And will my condition create a problem in future?

Hi,

It is not the smoking giving insomnia, but the underlying stress and anxiety are making you smoke and insomnia.

The control of basic stress is mandatory to cover up both issues.

As a medical student at AIIMS, you are far better knowing that smoking is hazardous in thousands of ways and you have to be on track to quit it anyhow.
