General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Hydrocarbons of smoke do affect the healing process of the body via dampening immune response. Though body will not run down as it gives you a sense of pleasure and well being by release of nicotine. Obstruction of other medicines also will not happen unless they are being consumed in form of aerosol form which requires respiratory route to enter the body.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
