Does Smoking Marijuana Make The Antibiotics To Be Less Effective?

i have a staph infection in my leg, ive been on antibiotics through iv since last sunday, so for more than a week now, and im done the iv on wednesday. i have to start orally prescribed antibiotics thursday. there is a dance friday night so i am upset that i wont be able to drink for it. so i am wondering if smoking marijuana will make the antibiotics less effective or anything of that nature. im not saying im going to but im just curious :p. i know its bad for your health already but besides that what will it do with the antibiotics?

It is unclear if there would be an interaction with antibiotics and marijuana. Just on the safe side though I would refrain from smoking marijuana for the time you are unwell on antibiotics.

Marijuana will affect people differently and in different ways. I would always be careful what you are consuming with marijuana. There are side effects and I don't recommend marijuana for anything but chronic illness. If you have no chronic illness maybe refrain from smoking marijuana entirely. It kills memory recall in your brain.
