Does Smoking Meth Causes Pink Eye?

i had a problem with smoking meth. And when id smoke it for a period of time my vision would become cloudy and blurry, and it would cause me to pick at my eyes alot, than i would start to have little eye boogers and that would make me pick at them more to get them out, i would spend hours just messing with my eyes, and when id accually go to sleep id wake up and not be able to open my eyes at all or hardly. my doctor told me it was pink eye and gave me a prescription. it worked and got rid of it. but this has happened twice, that i got pinkeye after smoking for a period of time. so can you get pinkeye from smoking meth? or was it caused by the obsession to pick at my eyes hours on end?
