Hi,

It is unlikely that a one time use of methamphetamine will interfere with a surgery scheduled two months later. But please keep in mind that methamphetamine is highly addictive and even a single time use in a person who was previously a regular user increases the chances of relapse. So please ask your friend to be very careful and decide if it is indeed worth using meth again.

Best wishes.
