Does Smoking Weed Cause Tonsillitis?

Hii About two months ago I smoked weed for the first time and I woke up with a sore throat. Then a couple weeks ago I smoked for the second time. A couple days after I came down with a very bad tonsillitis. Could it be that I got my tonsillitis because of the weed?? Thanks so much, -N

hello, thanks for your query. yes. it will cause pharynx and tonsill infection.smoking weed causes congestion , redness and welcomes the infection. you can start salt water gargling for minor infection, for major one you need to see an ent surgeon. hope I have answered your query. all the best. take care.
