Does Sneezing Affect Healing Process After Septoplasty And Turbinectomy?

I am due for septoplasty and turbinectomy procedure in 3 weeks time, but Spring has arrived early and I sneeze uncontrollably during this time, how will the sneezing affect, the healing process ??? I can take medication that controls my hayfever but it contains pseudoephedrine sulfate 120mg, and not to be taken for long periods as I have high blood presure. I am 62 years old and in otherwise good health

I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.


I do agree, pseudoephidrine causes hypertension in elderly.

you can turn to simple anti allergic medications like citrizine or steroidal nasal sprays, which will control ur sneezes and will not cause any hypertension.
