Does Spondylitis Cause Neck Problems, Ear Pain And Acute Headaches?

I have been diagnosed by my GP as having spondolitis. I had 2 exrays confirming this. I am having problems with my neck with a lot of pain at the back of my ear also very bad head aches. I have a great deal of catarh running down the back of my throat. I have tried quite a few pain killers also morphine patches but nothing will get rid of my headaches.
