Does Spontaneous Abortion Cause Severe Pain In The Abdomen?

I had a spontaneous abortion 5 days ago and I didn t undergo d&c procedure because my OB says I dont need it anymore since I had thin lining of uterus. She only prescribed be a medicine to discharged the rest of the blood.I dont have fever until now but I feel pain in my abdomin. I had a dysmenorrhea every time I had my menstruation. Is it normal to feel so much pain in my abdomen just like I had my menstruation? And also I still have a small reddish blood discharged right now?Is it also okey to take pain killer?

hi mam,pain occurs as your uterus is contracting to expel the left over tissues.so it is normal.you can have tab.MEFTHAL SPAS for pain relief.if the pain becomes unbearable with tenderness over abdomen,fever,dizziness,vomiting occur please do consult your obstetrician.take care.bye.
