Does Staph Infection Cause Swollen Lymph Nodes In Pelvis With Redness In Buttocks?

Hi Doctor, I was wondering if a staf infection can cause a bulge in pelvis lymph nodes and a red line going down your buttox ... I ve had a few pimples from to much sweating in the gym regularly because of my compressed boxers and was just wondering if this is a result of staff infection ?

This could be a staph infection but it sounds more like a strep cellulitis

If your lymph nodes are enlarged then you need to see a doctor right away for a course of antibiotics before the infection gets into your system and you begin having fevers and chills
