Does Stopping Hydrocodone In Third Trimester Avoid Withdrawal Symptoms In Child?
I am 33 wk and 5 day pregnant. I have taken hydrocodone and oxycodone both prescribed and not prescribed durig my pregnancy, on a consistent basis. As of today, i have stopped all together. I want my child to be born with no withdrawals. Is seven weeks enough time for there to be no trace when my baby is born?

Your fetus has been supplied hydrocodone for 7 months now which is enough to result in fetal addiction, and also to cause various other side effects like low birth weight, premature birth, etc.
I am afraid, stopping it for just the last 2 months of your pregnancy might not prevent these from happening. All we can do is pray and hope these are all avoided.
