Does Stress Cause Delayed Periods?

So I was due for my period according to my period tracker 29 days ago. But my period is irregular it anywhere is from 29 day cycle to a 35 day cycle but this time last year it was a 40 day cycle. I went to the gynecologist November 6 I had blood work done at a pep smear it all came back negative and a normal ranges I have. Cramps but no period. I took two tests when my period tracker told me I was five days late and seven daily both came back negative. Can stress because you to be late?

Yes, stress and hormonal/emotional changes can cause a delay in periods and alteration in cycle.
I would suggest that you get an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis if the problem continues. A general advice on irregular periods is that take rest, release tension, massage lower abdomen.
