Does Stress Or Vitamin Deficiency Cause Blisters?

I am having problems with what looks like fever blisters. A year ago my lips began swelling for some unknown reason. PCP and dentist said it was an allergic reaction to something. Have decreased and gotten off some meds due to lap band surgery 1 and 1/2 years ago. Blisters started appearing in November. Under a great deal of stress had to move to another Àpt and new apt is awful! Husband passed away and family had funeral without me. Am a mess! Could this be stress or vitamin deficiency or something else?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain swelling of lips along with blisters can be due to a number of causes like Allergic reaction, Herpes virus infection causing Cold Sores,Bullous Pemphegoid etc..
I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist or an Infectious Medicine Specialist and get evaluated along with investigations like Blood tests, can help in diagnosis and treatment can be advised according to the cause diagnosed..
You can be advised anti Viral medicines, anti inflammatory painkiller, anti allergics,Steroids etc depending upon the cause of ulcers..
You should do cool compresses over the lips to reduce swelling..
