Does Sunburn Lead To Yellow Blisters On Shoulders?

I went to the lake yesturday and got a pretty bad sunburn on my face, knees, shoulders, back, and arms. My arms, face, and knees seem to be healing fine. But on the back and tops of my shoulders I m getting blisters that look a bit yellowish. How bad is this? And what should I do to make it heal?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for sharing your query on Healthcaremagic, I have carefully worked through your case and yo got a first-degree sun burn I advice you apply cold compresses ( don't apply ice) 4-5 times a day per 30 minutes, don't break the blisters, if blisters break gentle clean the area with water and mild soap and apply antibiotic ointment ( triple antibiotic ointment OTC works great) cover it with a gauze, next time before sun exposure I recommend you use sun protection factor ( SPF ) 30 or higher which ultraviolet protection rays ( UVA and UVB ) I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
