Does Switching From Generes Fe To Gildess Fe Help In Reducing Depression?

I am currently taking Generess Fe. (I have been on it for just over three months.) And I have been experiencing moderate depression all throughout. I am going to switch to Gildess Fe at the end of this month of Generess because I was told it contains less estrogen, which should help with the depression. Am I right in thinking this?

Psychiatrist 's  Response
There is no robust evidence about the link between birth control pills and depression. However, there are a few studies that claim such a link. Therefore, it may be worthwhile giving a try to a different dosage pill.
If you continue to feel depressed, you may consider consulting a psychiatrist.
I hope this has answered your question.
