Does Swollen And Sore Breasts With Spotting Indicate Pregnancy?
hi, I am a 22 year old female. I am on a normal menstrual cycle, but I am not on birth control. the last time I had sex was about 2 & a half weeks ago, I started having sore breasts about two weeks ago and it hasnt really stopped. its noy my nipple, its like its under my nipple. they are also swollen. but there are no lumps or anything like that. right after ovulation, I noticed I had a bit of white discharge for a few days, not a whole lot but enough to mention. now it is a weekand a half after ovulagion andi.am having a light pink discharge. (i notice it most when I wipe) could this mean I am pregnant or could it be something else?
Hi, If you have regular 28-30 day cycles, you had the intercourse during your safe or anovulatory period. Ovulation occurs two weeks prior to the onset of the next menstruation. Since you had the intercourse one week prior to ovulation, you are safe. Your symptoms are most likely to be premenstrual and so is the vaginal discharge. In the current scenario, you can wait for your natural cycle to set in and go for a HPT 3-7 days later if you miss the period. Else, you can also get the blood test for pregnancy before the period is due. Hope this helps.
