Does Swollen Lymph Nodes In Neck With Throbbing Groin After Having Sex Mean Infection?

I have swollen lymph nodes in neck, and a throbbing/ tingling sensation in my groin, thigh, ribcage. 25 days after unprotected vaginal insert ice sex. Been really stressed and I keep checking my temperature for four straight days. Range from 37 -37.5, no sore throat or rash. Fatigue but sleeping has been hard. I am going to see a doctor and ask for testing in two days, I would go tomorrow but sister is visiting me and I don't want to reveal my fear. Does this mean I have HIV? Can't sleep

I can get from your query that you are really very much stressed regarding the episode and correlating with Early seroconversion phase of HIV.

The most important of part of Early seroconversion phase of HIV is high grade fever. In you case I can make out that you have quite normal temperature which can not be graded as fever of high grade.

The rest of symptoms are due to great anxiety which you have. I suggest you to not to worry and relax. Get testes as directed by your doctor and I am pretty hopeful that you are clear form all STDs.
