Does Swollen Toe/foot And Sore Lymph Nodes Around Groin Indicate Gout?

Yeah my father has a sore swollen big toe, his foot seems to be slightly swollen, he has sore lymph nodes around his groin and his blood pressure is up. He has taken 2 courses of anitbiotices (Cephalexine) and antiinflammatories (Prednisone). Could this be gout? He has seen 3 doctors who don't seem to think it is, but they don't know what it is either.
