Does Sysfol Confirms Pregnancy Test?
my gyne had asked me to take ova shield, after whih she referd for syspol 5mg tab. now my periods is due to 35 days. pregnancy test is negative, she asked me to continue sysfol for 10 days and then have the pregnancy test. Age : 25 height: 5.5 weight :79

Sysfol is nothing but folic acid. It acts as a nutritional supplement and as a prenatal vitamin, but does not help in giving a positive pregnancy test. If you have always had regular 28-30 day cycles and are sexually active, you should get a HPT 3-7 days after the missed period with a fresh early morning sample of urine or go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres for an earlier and better confirmation. Also, you are overweight and need proper weight management with diet regulation and exercise. Hope this helps.
